Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Randolph-Macon College has moved its classes to digital formats through the end of the Spring semester. The Office of International Education (OIE) remains open during this period of virtual instruction, but with reduced staffing in the office. Please email one of the OIE staff members first to determine whether your inquiry can be managed virtually.
After office hours or in case of an emergency, please contact Campus Safety (open 24 hours, 7 days a week) at (804) 752-4710 or campus_safety@ and the Communication Officer will direct your message to the appropriate OIE personnel as soon as possible.

We encourage all students to explore the study abroad opportunities available at R-MC, and it's never too early to get informed. No matter what your major, language abilities, or financial situation, there are myriad programs to choose from and options to meet various needs. To find the right program for you, it’s best to stay flexible and adventurous! To get started, visit R-MC's . The first time you log in (using your R-MC email and password), follow the prompt to generate your very own traveler profile. Via TRM will suggest study abroad programs for you based on your preferences! If you prefer not to answer all the questions, just click cancel at the top right of your screen and search for programs on your own.
Whether you are interested in study/travel courses or semester and year-long programs, Via TRM has information about all the options, and ALL students studying abroad will use this one platform to submit applications and complete predeparture forms.
As we transition to Via TRM, be aware that not every program listed is currently accepting applications. Study/travel courses become available in Via TRM in accordance with the OIE's announcement. There are also semester abroad programs available to you that are not yet searchable in Via TRM. Please visit our Via TRM site frequently, and don’t hesitate to contact the OIE to learn about additional programs!
